The evidence is in on Paintgate...with photos!
These are the colors for the ongoing Paintgate scandal. I still don't think it looks bad...very green, but not bad! Remember, we don't know if we're having a girl or a boy, and we want to decorate in a jungle baby animal theme. So take a look, and who knows, if I need to change them to keep the peace, well, I'll do it...
I'm showing limited photos of color only, the nursery itself is barely started. It's an ongoing work.

Hmm, I like them both... but not so much together... I think they're both very nice... it depends what you do with the rest of the room, right?
Okay, I know that MY opinion may not be as highly regarded as other friends that you may have [that whole lesbians are notorious for bad taste, etc] but I really like the greens. Not a huge fan of the jingle baby theme [no offense, everyone should choose what they like - not what I like] but the green is really great.
K asked if these are your two colors compared to each other? I thought you'd gone with your choice and not the earlier agreed upon choice at all - is that right?
Is the ceiling already the shade of yellow you choose?
I can't wait to see more pictures!!! Great job so far.
Oops, guess K and I were posting at the same time!
Yeah, that was my choice.
I like it, but I'm sure the other choices were nice too. really looking forward to seeing the progress and eventually the "Finster" - always the best part!
I like the colors. I think after seeing the nursery all put together with it's jungle decor, the colors will all come together very nicely.
And I think the jungle theme is nice. Probably would have been my 3rd choice in line for baby decor. First is Pooh Bear in pink which Nick did ALL by himself without my knowledge when I was still in PA waiting for Kayla's passport (I swear, he's not gay...lol!!!) then next would have been Mickey Mouse theme, then after that in my ranks would be jungle theme.
The most important thing about creating a nursery is that you guys have fun doing it together. This is such a joyous time savor every minute of the experience. I like the colors and think it will look wonderful when finished. My suggestion would be to add a jungle mural with leaves and vines in the contrasting green wall colors. Be creative so your little one will have a wonderful place to learn and discover. Remember you only need to please yourselves.
