Holding Pattern

Right now Project Baby is like the weather in Phoenix...the same every day, no changes. There's simply nothing to report. Nothing. We can't really do anything, buy anything, or plan anything. We still haven't heard back from the state. We've started cleaning out the office, which is going to be the baby's room. Right now it's a dark brown color but we plan to repaint it. Since we don't know if it's going to be a girls room or a boys room, we decided to go with something neutral. We're going with a sort of light sage green color, or as Behr Paints calls it, "Restful". It's kind of a soft natural color, and we can do the room in sort of earth tones.

This upcoming weekend is the Fourth of July and it lands on a Friday so we'll have a three day weekend. I'm going to make a real commitment to get that blasted birth mother letter started in Microsoft Publisher if it kills me. It's been a while since we've corresponded with Lane at the IAC anyway, so I'll have something to send him and update our progress.
