We Now Return to the Regularly Scheduled Baby
Well it's been a week and I think we're about 95% done with the ear infections. As of Sunday she's mostly acting her normal self again, although she's been more clingy then normal. That could be from being sick, from the anti-biotics, or maybe from a milk allergy (we just started weaning her to milk from formula a week or so ago). We think she'll be completely done in a day or two.

Awww glad she is feeling better and got to enjoy her cake!
So glad to hear that Sabrina is getting back to normal.
You mentioned that you are weaning her onto milk from formula, which reminded me of a "raw" milk based baby formula recipe. Here's that link:

Because I'm lactose intolerant, I can only drink raw milk and eat cheese made with raw milk, less I suffer the consequences! Plus raw milk is much healthier than pasteurized milk.
We get our raw milk from a small dairy in Queen Creek called Save Your Dairy. Link:

It's pricey at $10 per gal from the farm or $12 per gal from Healthy Habit Health foods in central Phoenix. It's cheaper for me to pay the $12 than driving 100 miles round trip to save $2 bucks. But, since you guys are in Mesa, it may be a shorter trip to Queen Creek. And you could always check out a real life dairy farm!

She really is too cute!
What a relief. We also moved away from milk, which we did a few times, each time thinking our little one was "fine" with milk. arrggh. We finally landed on organic milk and that what we stuck with AFTER milk tolerance was settled. Organic soy milk and org formula was our fave for about 2.5 years, though. May this adjustment go well!
So glad she's feeling better. Of course, I think cake makes EVERYTHING better! :)
So happy to see she's feeling better!!
Milk at $12 a gallon? LOL you don't have a kid do you!
Too cute! I am glad she is feeling better.
Thanks for your comment Bobby. Its good to know Im not the only one that takes a step back and thinks, "Wow, if that didnt happen....!" It's neat.
And thank you for accepting and being part of our online family as well. It's sad to say, that most of all of you know me better and are much more a part of our lives then my own blood related family. But it is best that way.
So glad Sabrina got to FINALLY enjoy come birthday cake. I been thinking about Kayla's 2nd birth party already. I can hardly believe it.
So glad she's feeling better. And gets to enjoy her cake. Yay, cake!
You have a beautiful baby girl. I wanted to just give you some helpful advice regarding the management of her hair. You really need to stop pulling her hair into such tight ponytails because as is evident in this photo, her entire hairline is literally gone. Her hair will continue to "rip" out if you continue putting her hair up in those tight ponytails.
Try getting her hair braided loosely and gently by someone that can do that kind of hair. Gentle care is needed for delicate black baby hair or she will end up losing most of it.
