The Ears Have It

The girl was up at 3 AM with 102 degree fever.  Some water, Tylenol, and late night Barney got it down to 99 an hour later.  She spent some time in bed with the Daddies after that until she could fall asleep.  Gregg's staying home with her today, and when I left for work this morning it was almost 101 again.

I was always told to use Ibuprofen for high fevers... it really knocks it down better than Tylenol.

I hope she's feeling better soon!

Ibuprophen every 6 hours, Tylenol every 2 hours in-between. I had 4 kids, and this info was given to us when we had our first, so I used it for all four. I also refused tubes for my son with his persistant ear infections - instead, took him off all antibiotics (that were eating up his tummy) and dosed him with children's liquid Sudafed around the clock. His ears cleared up and he hasn't had an ear infection in 10+ years...nor has he ever had to have another antibiotic!

Eek, hoping for a quick recovery because ear infections suck. Is she teething too?

So sorry, MIssy S is having a double ear infection. I've had such dramas with my children's ear infections and know how hard it can be. Hang in there, Daddies.
