Some Exciting Evening

It's 8 PM; Gregg is making a pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving, I'm on the couch watching the Coyotes game, and Sabrina's on the floor coloring on her giant paper pad.  The Boys are somewhere, sleeping.  We're enjoying the quiet as we wait for the arrival of Grandma-ma from San Antonio Texas.  Gregg's mother has not seen the baby since last November, so it will be exciting to have her and her husband here for a few days to visit and have Thanksgiving.  Right now, I'm just enjoying the calm before the storm.

Let me see. Tucson to Mesa, about 90 minutes. If I leave now it should be nicely cooled off and Bean will sleep in the car. Happy Thanksgiving.

Gregg, you ARE a stud. Would you ever consider putting one of those red velvet cakes in Priority Mail?

To you, Bobby, and the lil' miss, I hope you are having a really enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend. May you all weather the storm well!

Hello, I don't even know how I accidentally came across your blog. First, I am a Christian, straight, married mom. I am very sorry you have experienced hatred from others who call themselves Christians.
I hope you have found a church and a church family.
I belong to a wonderful United Methodist Church. I would say about 65% of the members feel as I do that being gay is a normal variation in nature, and the rest (mainly the older people) feel it is a sin. Things are changing, attitudes are getting better, hand in there.
You have a lovely daughter.
I also like your labs.
FYI, I recently bought a robotic vac. cleaner called "Neato" that works quite well. It does not do a good job getting right up against the edges of rooms, but I run mine twice a week and it does a very good job of picking up dog hair. The problem with the Neato, if you read the reviews, is that some of them have a programming problem right out of the box. Our first one was like that, and the company immediately sent a replacement that works. It is also $400, but it has helped me tremendously in keeping the house clean. We have a rescue dog, half lab/half australian shepherd and a cat.
Best wishes to you and your family,
Lynne in MD
