I'm Baaaack...

I can't believe my last blog post was over a week ago. I guess I should bring you up to date, but actually things have been relatively quiet. Our trip back to Arizona was uneventful; Sabrina pretty much slept the entire way home. We got back about 7 PM on Saturday, so there was enough time to go get The Boys. When I got home, I took them over to the common area to play with our neighbor's Yellow Lab Bronco. After being in the Pet Hotel for two weeks, there was a lot of energy to burn off. After they were good and tired, I brought them into the back yard and let them smell one of Sabrina's blankets. Gregg took her out the front door, and I brought them in the back to let them get the whole "Whoo-hoo we're back in our own home" dance that I knew they would do over with. When he came back in, they went to greet him, and we let them meet the baby. After a few sniffs and mild interest, they were off to make sure their stuff was where they left it and to do a patrol of the house. A week later, and they still like to give her a sniff if she's in her swing at dog's eye level, but mostly they're over her. Of course, I know even that they are our "Boys" we aren't going to leave them alone with her unattended. Just in case. Mostly, I don't want her covered in slobber, which is the most likely outcome.

Gregg is working from home for the rest of the month; I went back to work on Tuesday. I am planning to take a week off during the Memorial Day holiday. Sabrina sleeps really well; she gets a bottle at 10 or 11, then about 3 or 4, and again around 7. Best part is, after a bottle and diaper change, she's back to sleep. She's had a few fussy nights here and there, but for the most part we're pretty lucky in the sleeping department. So right now, we're just enjoying being a family of 3. Oh sorry, 5.
